Created in His Image
"So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."
— Genesis 1:27 (NIV)
Encouraging Message:
Whenever doubt tries to creep in, whenever the world makes you feel less than, remember: God’s Word says otherwise.
From the teasing in middle school to the loneliness of high school, and even into adulthood where insecurities still whisper, God’s truth remains unchanged—you are created in His image.
Think about that: The same God who spoke the universe into existence crafted you with intention and love.
That means you are not a mistake, you are not inadequate, and you are not unworthy. You are perfect in His creation—worthy of love, happiness, peace, and joy.
The world may try to define you by its own standards, but God has already called you His masterpiece.
Walk in confidence today knowing that you reflect the image of the Almighty—and that makes you more than enough.
Ephesians 2:10 (NIV):
"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Reflection:
What lies or doubts have you believed about yourself that contradict God’s truth? How can you remind yourself daily that you are made in His image?
Journaling Prompt:
Write down the words or labels the world has tried to place on you. Then, next to each one, replace it with what God says about you.
Write a declaration: "I am created in God’s image, and I am worthy of love, joy, peace, and all good things."
Closing Prayer:
Father God, thank You for creating me in Your perfect image. Thank You for calling me worthy, loved, and chosen. Help me to silence the lies of the world and embrace the truth of who You say I am. Let me walk boldly in my identity as Your child today and every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
