Spring Is the New Year Your Storm Is Over, Spring Is Here

There’s something so powerful about the arrival of spring. It’s a season of renewal, refreshing, and rebirth. The air feels lighter, flowers begin to bloom, and life seems to return to the earth. That’s why for decades, we’ve practiced spring cleaning—because we instinctively know this is a time to release the old and make room for the new.

Spiritually, spring represents a new year, a divine reset. The heaviness of winter—the emotional storms, the spiritual dryness, the weariness—begins to lift. The storm is over. Spring is here.

Song of Songs 2:11-12 (NIV):
“See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come…”

Look around and feel what’s shifting in the atmosphere. God has been clearing the way—cleaning out what no longer serves you, pruning back what was draining you, and making space for fresh growth in your spirit.

This is your season to bloom.

What have you been holding on to from the last season? What clutter—emotional, spiritual, or even physical—is taking up space in your heart?

Just like we open windows in the spring to let the fresh air in, it’s time to open your heart again. To let joy in. To breathe in hope. To expect goodness.

Isaiah 61:3 (NLT):
“To all who mourn in Israel, He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair…”

Spring is more than just a date on the calendar—it’s a spiritual invitation to start again. To believe again. To bloom in places you never thought possible.

Your storm is over. Spring is here. 🌸

So let the light in. Shake off the dust. Celebrate what’s coming. You’ve been planted—and now it’s your time to grow.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the season of spring—a season that reminds me that new life is always possible. Thank You for bringing me through the storm and into the sunlight. Help me release what no longer serves me and open my heart to the new things You are doing. I trust You with this fresh start. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
