A Mother’s Strength Comes from the Lord: How Faith Sustains Us as Parents

Acts 16:5 – So the churches were being strengthened in the faith and were increasing in number daily.

Even when life is hard, God is guiding us and giving us the strength to endure.

Yes, we can come through trials—
But when we have a relationship with our Father,
We come through smelling like roses, not smoke.

2 Timothy 3:14 – But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them.

I don’t know what this says to you,
But I know who carries me.

I know who loves me,
I know who guides me,
I know who protects me,
And I know who gives me strength to endure and sustain.

This is what we want.
Because life will happen—
We will go through trials—
But we should want to go through them with Papa.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for being our strength in the midst of our trials. Lord, we recognize that without You, we could do nothing. Thank You for sustaining us as mothers, for carrying us when we are weak, and for giving us faith to trust You even when life feels overwhelming.

God, we surrender our children to You daily. We ask that You continue to guide them, protect them, and strengthen them according to Your perfect will. Help us to walk in faith, to trust You fully, and to rest in Your peace knowing that You are always in control.

We love You, we trust You, and we give You all the glory.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
