Trusting God’s plan when you can’t see the way forward.

There are moments in life when we feel completely overwhelmed. In our heads, we scream:
"OMG, what am I supposed to do? There’s no one here who can help me! I cannot do this!"

We spiral, believing we don’t have the strength to endure certain situations. But in those very moments, God is whispering:
"I already have a plan—just trust Me."

When Life Hits Like a Ton of Bricks

I remember when life knocked me flat. The final blow? The company I had worked for 17 years announced layoffs, and guess who was affected? Me.

I’ve worked since I was 14, so my first reaction was sheer panic. What am I going to do? How will I survive? Where will I work? This can’t be real!

Meanwhile, God was watching me, shaking His head, saying:
"If she doesn’t calm down and come to Me… but I’ll be here when she does."

I was losing my mind over something He had already prepared a way through. God knew this was coming. He had already made provisions for me—but in that moment, my faith was weak. It was bubble gum faith—soft and stretchable, but lacking the firmness and confidence we are supposed to have.

Walking by Faith, Not by Sight

2 Corinthians 5:7 reminds us:
"For we walk by faith, not by sight."

It’s easy to trust God when everything is going well, but what about when life smacks us hard? When finances crumble, relationships break, or we’re hit with unexpected loss? That’s when faith is tested. That’s when we need a confident, unshakable faith.

If you’re in a season of uncertainty, stand firm. God’s plan is always greater than your own. What feels like the end could actually be your setup for something better.

Keep Trusting, Keep Walking

I learned that even when things look hopeless, God is already working it out. I just had to lean into Him, not my fears. And when I did? He showed up in ways I never imagined.

So today, whatever you’re facing—trust Him. Walk by faith, not by sight. Stand firm. Keep going. Because God’s plan for you is already in motion.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for reminding us that Your plan is always greater than our own. In moments of fear and uncertainty, help us to lean on You completely and not our own understanding. Strengthen our faith, Lord—let it be firm and unwavering, even when life feels overwhelming.

Forgive us for the times we doubt Your provision, and remind us that You have already gone before us. You have already made a way. Lord, replace our fear with faith, our worry with worship, and our panic with Your perfect peace.

We trust You, we surrender to Your will, and we choose to walk by faith, not by sight.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
